When to vote

Sarah won the May 5 Democratic primary. The general election that decides District 70 is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

October 5

Registration deadline for the November election. Miss this date and you can't vote in the general.

Early voting
October 6 – November 2

Vote early in person at your county's designated early-voting sites — locations and hours are set by each county clerk and listed at indianavoters.in.gov. Early voting ends at noon the day before Election Day.

Vote by mail
Apply by October 22

Indiana requires a reason to vote by mail — such as being 65 or older, having a disability, or being away from your county all 12 hours polls are open. Apply at indianavoters.in.gov by 11:59 p.m. October 22. Your ballot must reach your county election board by 6 p.m. on Election Day.
